A Week of "Firsts"

We are continuing to have a fabulous time with Faith. I feel so blessed to have 2 precious girls & a husband who loves us all so much. It truly feels like Faith has been here all along, not like we have someone new in the house. Although I pray that is how she feels, I know the language is a bit frustrating for her at times. We have had only one little tantrum one day as we were leaving school. I was introducing her to one of our dear friends outside school & all she wanted to do was go back in for her flower. Trying to explain that she couldn't take it home today but could have it tomorrow was not working & poor Henry got to see a giant pout/stomp combo. But if that pout/stomp dance is the worst we have...i am sooo thankful!
We have had so many firsts this last week. Besides learning to ride a bike, we have seen our first rodeo, Buc Days carnival and our first hair cut as well as our first trip to the beach. The rodeo was a bit confusing at times...gotta be hard trying to figure out why these silly men are falling off these giant animals. But she loved the clowns and just giggled & said "oh no" when they did something silly.

She was amazed at the beach and as we drove out on the sand, she was oohing. Jeff stopped & put the girls and Rusty in the back of the pick up to ride back there a while & that was a huge hit...but she liked the cab window open so that she could yell Hi when she felt like it. :)

We all had fun watching as she ran from the waves crashing in & yelled at Rusty to stay as he'd take off after the birds. We thought it would be too cold for swim suits, so didn't bring them...big mistake, their clothes quickly became their suits. It was a fun afternoon.

One of her favorite things to do is sing with her big sister. Our favorite song at the moment is "Live Like You Were Dying". Just precious listening to her sing. :)
